How long have you been in business?
BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc., based in Hoffman Estates, IL., was originally established as KPT/Kaiser Precision Tooling, Inc. the U.S. subsidiary of Heinz Kaiser AG, Rümlang, Switzerland in the spring of 1990. In June of 2003, with a significant expansion of its commitment to the North American market, BIG Daishowa Seiki Co. Ltd., a global tooling manufacturer based in Osaka, Japan, formed a new strategic alliance with KPT/Kaiser Precision Tooling, Inc. To recognize the importance of this new strategic alliance, KPT/Kaiser has been renamed BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary products are boring tools, tool holders, cutting tools, tool presetters, workholding systems and machine tool accessories.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
BIG Kaiser is not everything to everyone. We are a very highly specialized tooling & accessory manufacturer with a focus on high end, premium tooling solutions. Our products deliver measurable performance benefits - they don't just "get the job done".
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL is our sole location to serve the North American market. If we were to expand, it would be an expansion of the current facility - although not any time soon since this facility was built in 2009.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located 500ft north of the Central Rd. and Huntington Blvd. intersection. Central Rd. runs east & west from Barrington Rd to Roselle Rd., parallel to I-90 on the north side. We are right next door to DMG / Mori Seiki USA, who is located on the northwest corner of Central Rd. & Huntington Blvd.

All of North America and some Central America.
