BUILD’s mission is to engage at-risk youth in the schools and on the streets so they can realize their educational and career potential and contribute to the stability, safety and well being of our communities. . The BUILD Model (Prevention, Intervention, BUILDing Futures) provides a coordination of services that benefit youth by assessing their needs where ever they are and identifying support internally and/or externally through our community partners. Activities occur in/after school, weekends, school vacations, when kids are most at risk, and most occur in community partners’ facilities (e.g., schools, Park Districts, churches, human service agencies).
