Website Supplied Access News Association (WSANA) is a not-for-profit corporation. The mission of WSANA is to provide a website with information for persons who want to independently and be a part of the community in which they live. WSANA has a website with information for persons with disabilities, that has been visited since September 2003 by over 224,000 persons.
WSANA has been honored by the Illinois House of Representatives by the passage of HR 1196 on April 16,2008 honooring WSANA for reaching the milestone of over 100,000 visitors to its website.As of August,2010, over 205,,000 persons have visited the website.WSANA worked with State Senator Don Harmon to effectively get 2 Public Acts passed which assist individuals with disabilities to live independently.Involved in 2010 Roll Call Police Training of Oak Park, Illinois police force.Written up in Februasry 3,2010 issue of Oak Park's Wednesday Journal. During the summer of 2010 WSANA has been at several events so people could get information to assist them to become aware of services and programs that could help them.
