We provide strategic business consulting services for small and middle market companies and non-profit organizations.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I served as an executive at several small and middle market companies, then started my own business. I then decided to start Ground Floor Partners because I wanted to help other small business owners avoid making the mistakes I made when I started my first company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We listen more and talk less.
We put ourselves in the owners' shoes. We know what it is like to wake up in a cold sweat wondering if you'll be able to make payroll the next day.
We focus on sustainable growth, rather than short term gimmicks. It is easy to goose revenue and profits in the short term, but usually that leads to trouble in the long term.
We don't specialize in any one particular industry. We do this on purpose, since there is often cross-pollination from working on other industries. This also helps us stay fresh, so we don't become over confident and arrogant.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one office in Chicago, but we work with clients all over the country (and internationally).

We are located in the Chicago Loop, right on the corner of Randolph and Michigan Avenues. The Red, Blue, Green, Brown and Orange line trains all stop within a few blocks of our office. Parking garages are nearby also.
