Iani Varga has got to be one of the worst brokers in the business. He was not honest from the very beginning, making impossible promises that prompted me to use him in the first place. Because, of his thick foreign accent, he is nearly impossible to understand; and I think he does this on purpose to create a communication gap, so he can do whatever he wants and not follow through on the clients' wishes. Communication is further strained, as he does not call back as promised. He continually stated he would call back in 15 minutes and never did. He continually told me today we will have the clear to close, which went on for over a month, and three weeks past our contract closing date, costing me a great deal of money and psychological trauma worrying I sold my home on this man's promises and now it looked like I was going to be homeless. I finally called the Underwriter myself to get the clear to close. Finally, as a last major screw up he had me committed to putting more money down on my purchase than I had cleared on the sale of my home. Some creative review found some discounts that brought it down to where I could afford to close, but I still had to go $4,000 into my savings rather than walk away with $20k as I requested, so we could furnish the house. We have our beautiful new home and now have nothing in it and it will likely take years to get it furnished. Do yourself a favor and avoid this man at all cost.
