How long have you been in business?
Great Lakes has been in the business of selling cranes since October of 2007.
What is your primary product or service?
While we do offer an array of products, service and maintenance, our best selling item right now is the UNIC line of Mini Crawler Spider Cranes.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I managed day to day operations as well as the development and implementation of future business plans for Great Lakes Lifting Solutions since its' inception, so it's been in the family for quite a while.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
At Great Lakes, we don't only provide hoists and cranes but we also educate our current and potential clients about our available and upcoming construction equipment and lifting machinery. We are the only Chicago crane dealer authorized to sell, rent and lease the Spydercrane Mini Crawlers w295 and Spydercrane w376 Mini Cranes.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location and will definitely look to expand if the opportunity presents itself.
