Karen I. Hirsch is an award-winning commercial photographer based in Chicago. She works as a partner with clients to create images that communicate their message. Her photography is used for advertising, corporate communications, editorial publications, internet, multi-media and fine art interior decor. She is dedicated to producing artistry in imagery whether photographing people, sports, special events, architecture, still life, travel or abstracts. Her work has been featured in Graphis and Communication Arts photography annuals. Her photos have been published in books newspapers, magazines including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Forbes, Architectural Digest and Sailing World.
Hirsch spent much of her career working at top advertising agencies.
In 2007, the government of China invited Hirsch to be one of ten foreign photographers to photograph the city of Rizhao. The photos were used for tourism and to attract businesses to the region.
