What is your primary product or service?
Reliable American primarily offers roofing and gutter services to the Chicagoland area on commercial, multi-family and residential buildings.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am Thomas Kral, the Founder and General Manager of Reliable American. I formed Reliable American in 2003 to promote quality roofing workmanship, something that seems to be extremely lacking amongst in this industry. I have had experience working for other roofing companies since 1998 and it was my aim to fill the voids and problems I saw in the companies I previously worked for.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Many companies focus on price, Reliable American is quality driven. We will not be the cheapest. Properly trained workmen and quality roofing materials cost money. It is a big investment to replace your roof, but when it's cheaper to replace it only once.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Reliable American has always been located in Glenview. Our focus is to serve our customer base, this focus allows us to expand ina controllable manner as the customer base grows from referrals. It is not our goal to grow for the sake of growth, Quality matters more than volume.

We accept checks, money order, Visa & Master Card.
Which areas do you service?
For commercial work, we will travel to the entire Chicago Metropolitan area. For residential work we service the North Shore suburbs and North side of the city of Chicago.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am currently the owner and manage the day to day operations of the business. We have enough guys to get the job done right, but we are small enough to still care about the job we are doing.
