Phillip's is a third-generation, family-owned business founded in the Chicago area more than 85 years ago.

The company specializes in fresh flower arrangements, plant gifts, wedding flowers, event decorations, and a complete range of commercial floral and plant services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
James A. Phillip began delivering flowers in Chicago on street cars as a youth in the early 1900s and found he had a gift for floral design. He and his wife Helen opened their first shop in 1923.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The company imports its own fresh flowers direct from around the world for the best in quality and value and has a team of more than 200 floral professionals to serve its customers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Phillip's currently has ten Chicago area locations and is one of the larger nationwide florists, too, but historically focuses on its core business more than on expansion.
