As the President and Founder of C&M , Chuck oversees the business, including IT, technical training, equipment evaluations and purchases, and the occasional diagnostic challenge. He entered the industry as an automotive technician after earning his associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Triton College in River Grove, Ill. He is a member of the "ASE Blue Seal of Excellence Extra" editorial board, vice president of the Lee Auto Parts Bumper-to-Bumper Dealer Council board of directors, and a member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA). In his spare time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing, fishing and boating.

How long have you been in business?
Since October 1984, we started as a four bay gas station and have grown it in to what we have today.
What is your primary product or service?
We are an independent automotive and light truck full service repair facility. We offer everything from tire service, check engine light repairs, factory recommended services and more. We do not perform collision work.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Chuck has been in the automotive service business since 1976, he started out working for a mass merchandiser repair shop, and attended Triton College earning an Associates Degree in Automotive Science. Later moved on to Bill's Texaco in Glenview and after two years,partnered up with Bill's son, Mike. In April of 1985 the business was moved to a larger 11 bay facility 5 blocks north of the old location. We operated that location for twenty years, then moved to our current location. In 2001 a second location was opened in Vernon Hills and January 2007, Mike and Chuck split the company with Chuck operating the Glenview location.
